inlingua Malta – Celebrating 30 years

Attractions

Malta has prehistoric temples, pretty fishing villages, fortified cities, rocky coasts and smooth sandy beaches.

inlingua Malta runs a full cultural and leisure programme  throughout the year. This gives you the freedom to do only the activities that interest you the most. We will organise transport, a guide and all entrance tickets…just don’t forget your camera!

The fortified cities of Valletta and Mdina are a mythical experience and while a lot of the action is found on the main streets, wander off into the side streets to really experience these cities like the locals.

Head down to the Marsaxlokk fish market early Sunday morning. See the fresh catch of the day and buy some local olive oil and honey to take home as souvenirs.

The Megalithic Temples of Malta are listed as UNESCO World Heritage  Sites and are a must see for all visitors. These temples are the oldest free standing temples in the world. Scientists believe that some of these temples were erected around one thousand years before the construction of the famous pyramids of Egypt.

Maltese festas are famous for the dazzling fireworks display, the religious procession, the street food and the lively atmosphere. These are celebrated regularly on the weekend throughout the summer. If you are here during the months of July and September, be sure to visit one.

Gozo  is the second largest of the Maltese islands and is only twenty minutes away by ferry. It remains unspoilt by development and is characterised by charming villages, green hills and world famous diving spots.
