Global Ports Holding, Valletta Cruise Port’s majority shareholders, are organising:
a) 10K run (registration – €10)
b) 5K run (registration – €5),
c) 5K walk (registration – €5)
around the beautiful scenic coast of the capital Valletta. Registrations can be completed on www.globalrunvalletta.com
The run and walk will be held on SUNDAY 30th OCTOBER, starting and ending at Valletta Cruise Port (Valletta Waterfront). The event is expected to attract both runners and walkers both in Malta and from other countries. All registration fees will be donated to Puttinu Cares Cancer Support Group, a charity set up in 2002 offering a holistic approach of care for families with children suffering from cancer who need Home Care Assistance. www.puttinucares.org Participants can also register on the 29th October 2016 from 9.30am to 6.00pm at Valletta Cruise Port. Each participant who completes the route – whether running or walking – will be awarded a unique medal especially minted for this occasion, plus a t-shirt and a bag as per attached. Following a number of international runs organized under the Global Run Series, Global Ports Holding have also garnered the support of the Maltese authorities and a number of entities. The event is part of the Malta Amateur Athletics Association (MAAA) calendar, attributable to the highly professionally level in terms of organization, with the event being also recognized on a European/international level (IAAF).
